I discovered the Skil in a nearby buying club, and decided to move with it. I used it a quantity of instances, even though I no longericed that the miter monitor is quite unique, which means no off the shelf accesories will work with it. The miter observe has straight walls, no longer a "T" kind.That would have labored fine with most accesories with fasteners that widen in the slot as zou tighten the screw; excluding, the observe is merely too slender, so those fasteners dont fit. The monitor is interrupted every 8 inches or so, forming a short "t" which is needless for t-bolt sort fastners. And there is the reality that the uninterrupted element of the monitors is merely too slender for the fasteners you get with the sort of featherboard which you might purchase.

Another severe fault with the desktop is the stand. It bathroom looks flimsy, and it is. I in actuality managed to work the machine onto my outdated delta base, and used it once or twice that approach. I had the Skil stand in a closet.
