To be trustworthy, I even have not had the first downside with the noticed. I have ripped, mitered, and dadoed with this saw. The simplest purpose that I did not provide it 5 famous persons is that it doesn't have a dust port. I actually have gotten my money's worth out of this saw several occasions..

Even after following the directions for adjusting the blade so it is parallel to the fence, the blade is at a bit of an perspective, best about half of a level or so, but it surely cannot be made to be completely parallel to the fence. The adjusting slots underneath the table aren't machined properly. And the cheapo mechanism for attaching the blade shield nearly guarantees that the wood being lower will hit the shield.
As I already have a Dewalt DW715 compound miter noticed, I handiest use this Skil table saw for ripping long pieces... I use the Dewalt for all different lowers. My Dewalt handles with the precision of a sports car. This Skil saw is extra like an old station wagon with dangerous suspension.
